Westfield Police Lt. Brodie Houston to retire

After more than 40 years in law enforcement – including 32 years with the Westfield Police Department (WPD) – Lt. Brodie Houston is set to retire with a legacy of exceptional service, leadership, and dedication to community.

Lt. Houston began his career with the Montgomery County Police Department before joining WPD in 1993. Over the years, he rose through the ranks, serving in key leadership roles such as Operations Commander, Investigations Division Commander, Assistant Chief of Police, and most recently, Lieutenant overseeing Professional Standards and Accreditation. In 1995, he was honored with both the Medal of Valor and the Lifesaving Award, recognizing his bravery and commitment. He also played a pivotal role in establishing Westfield’s Detective Division.

His decades of mentorship, integrity, and service have left a lasting mark on the department and the community he served so faithfully. Thank you, Lt. Houston!
