Fishers, GC baseball teams receive academic excellence award

Two Hamilton County high school baseball programs received a prominent national award on Wednesday.

The American Baseball Coaches Association recognized more than 800 high school and college programs across the country with the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award presented by Sports Attack. The teams posted a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 school year.

Locally, Fishers and Guerin Catholic high schools received the award, two of more than 320 high school teams across the country that were honored.
