February 14, 1967 – August 2, 2026
Lisa Fletcher, 59, Carmel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1967, in Derby, England. Lisa was the cherished daughter of Michael and Noreen Toone Swindell. She was educated in the United Kingdom, where she built the foundation for a life marked by intelligence, determination, and compassion.
In 1992, Lisa met the love of her life, Kevin Fletcher. Their story began in England and blossomed into a lifelong adventure when they relocated together to the United States in 1994. They were united in marriage on August 20, 1994, beginning a beautiful partnership that spanned 31 wonderful years. Throughout their marriage, they built a loving home in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and eventually Indiana, embracing each new chapter as Kevin’s career led them to different places.
One of Lisa’s greatest joys came with the birth of their son, Joseph, in CT in 1997. She was immensely proud of the man he became and admired his dedication and service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Her love and encouragement were a constant source of strength for her family.
Lisa enjoyed a successful career as an accountant with Restream in Boston, Mass., and also worked as a property manager in both Massachusetts and Maine. She was respected for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Beyond her career, Lisa embraced life’s simple pleasures. She found peace walking with her beloved dogs, especially her faithful companion, Doris. She had a remarkable eye for interior design and delighted in creating warm, welcoming spaces that reflected her creativity and style. An avid traveler, Lisa especially cherished returning home to the United Kingdom and spending Christmases in Mexico, making treasured memories with those she loved.
Those who knew Lisa will remember her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She possessed a kind heart, a thoughtful nature, and a grace that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Whether offering support, sharing laughter, or simply being present, Lisa had a gift for making others feel loved and valued.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Swindell.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 31 years, Kevin Fletcher; her beloved son, Joseph Fletcher; her stepson, Gareth Fletcher; her loving mother, Noreen Swindell; her treasured dog, Doris; along with extended family and many dear friends in both the United States and the United Kingdom who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Though Lisa’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the kindness she showed will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
