March 24, 1942 – August 7, 2026
Martha Geraldine “Jerry” White, 84, Noblesville, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on March 24, 1942, to Roy H. and Marjorie “Helen” (Farrington) Reynolds, just 18 months after her big brother, Ronnie Clay Reynolds, Sr., and eight years before her baby brother, Roy E. Reynolds.
Martha was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and moved to Indiana when entering the first grade and has been a Hoosier ever since.
1961 was her year of many changes. Martha graduated from Noblesville High School, married Richard F. White, Sr., and became a mother all in the same year.
Martha loved cooking and spending time at family gatherings. If you visited for even a short time, she would be sure you shared a meal together. Each family member had their favorite food, but the most requested favorites were her mac and cheese, homemade from scratch chicken and noodles, oyster dressing for her brother, and pumpkin pie.
Martha spent 40 years of her life working retail. She spent 25 years as the head bookkeeper for Marsh Supermarket in Noblesville. After retiring from Marsh, she then went back nine months later to work for 15 years at Walmart as Head of Customer Service at the Fishers store.’
Martha was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and very much enjoyed her Happy Gleeners Sunday School Class. Sadly, Martha spent the last three years at Riverwalk Village. She was diagnosed in August 2021 with Lewy Body Dementia and Frontal Temporal Dementia. But she is now healed and whole.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” F. White, Sr.; children, Kris Ann (Brian) Ashpaugh and Richard “Dickie” F. (Jamie) White, Jr.; granddaughters, Megan (Butch) Tincher, Jessica (Brad) McEntarfer, Sarah (Derrick) Herald, Michelle (Jacob) Havlik, and Reagan (Nick) Carey; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Owen, Hadley, Belle, Mila, Caleb, Bear, and Webb.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. An additional time of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the funeral home with a service following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
