21 Hamilton Heights students earn College Board National Recognition Program Honors

Twenty-one Hamilton Heights students earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. They were among the over 300,000 students from across the country recognized for their strong academic performance. These honors reflect both individual achievement and the strong academic foundation provided by Hamilton Heights educators. Hamilton Heights School Corporation announces that 21 juniors and seniors have been recognized by the College Board National Recognition Programs (NRP), a prestigious academic honor that elevates students’ college and scholarship opportunities nationwide.

These students earned recognitions in the following categories: First-Generation Recognition Award (for students whose parents did not attend college) and School Recognition Award (for students ranking in the top 10 percent of their high school class). They include:

  • Emerson Burnand: First-Generation Recognition Award, School Recognition Award
  • Austin Campassi: First-Generation Recognition Award
  • Olivia Cosand: First-Generation Recognition Award, School Recognition Award
  • Heather Crays: First-Generation Recognition Award, School Recognition Award
  • Grayden Dahlstrom: School Recognition Award
  • Silas Fryman: School Recognition Award
  • Hans Frymier: School Recognition Award
  • Abigail Gragg: First-Generation Recognition Award, School Recognition Award
  • Olivia Higgins: School Recognition Award
  • Amira Leer: School Recognition Award
  • Aubree McDonald: School Recognition Award
  • Madeline McKinney: First-Generation Recognition Award, School Recognition Award
  • Addyson Meier: First-Generation Recognition Award

These students earned this academic honor because of their grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or AP® Exams. They can now list this honor on applications to stand out to colleges and scholarships.

“These students have worked incredibly hard, and this recognition reflects their dedication, resilience, and academic excellence,” said Lori Watson, Hamilton Heights High School Freshman Counselor. “Their accomplishments represent the spirit of excellence that defines our school community and inspire younger Huskies to pursue their own academic goals.”

The National Recognition Programs celebrate high-achieving students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance. These awards can be included on college and scholarship applications, strengthening students’ profiles and helping them stand out to universities across the country.
