The Town of Sheridan is making significant strides in improving local infrastructure as it takes on expanded responsibilities for road maintenance.

As of Jan. 1, the Town officially assumed control of roads previously managed by Hamilton County in Adams Township.

Under the leadership of its director, Scott Kirby, the Sheridan Public Works Department is diligently addressing road repairs across the community. Their efforts are creating noticeable improvements, enhancing safety, and accessibility for residents and visitors.

“We’re proud of the dedication and hard work by Scott Kirby and his team, Town Council President Si DeVaney said. “This transition marks a new chapter in how we care for our roads, and we’re committed to meeting the needs of our growing community.”
