No Title Needed is a show celebrating the pleasures and passions that enrich people’s lives. On Monday, hosts Scott Osborne and Cindy Collins had chat with Nancy Heck, attorney and former Community Relations and Economic Development director for the City of Carmel.

In this week’s episode, Heck shared her joys in helping to build the city into what it is today, along with her personal interests in the arts and photography.

Her goal was not to become an attorney as she studied communications and worked on her art at Indiana University. She later went to law school while working full time with her two kids at home.

Heck discussed her history leading her to the position in Carmel, including working for the police department and helping them establish many of the initiatives they did not have. She also spoke about how her husband helped along the way and how much it meant to be a part of helping former Mayor Jim Brainard realize his dreams for developing the city.

Throughout the years, Heck has continued to pursue her joy of art and photography, even doing some freelance work for the Indianapolis 500 and the Indiana State Fair. She is currently working for the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, hoping to help them get back to the level of prominence where they were a few decades ago.

Listen to this week’s show to learn more about Heck’s amazing and sometimes overwhelming life as she shares more about her life’s passions.

Tune in next week as No Title Needed welcomes Susie St. Angelo, certified health coach, Market Liaison, relocation consultant, and podcaster.

Each week, Scott Osborne and Cindy Collins welcome a new guest to their podcast and explore what fuels people and passions beyond the 9-to-5 grind. The show is recorded inside Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael and airs at 8 a.m. Mondays. Click here to follow the show on Facebook.
