Fishers Music & Arts Academy (FMAA) invites the community to discover the joy of music during its free open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at its Fishers studio located at 9746 Olympia Drive.

The family-friendly event will feature an interactive “instrument petting zoo,” where guests of all ages can try a variety of musical instruments, a community drum circle, a teacher showcase featuring FMAA instructors and other hands-on activities. The open house is designed to give attendees the opportunity to explore music in a fun, welcoming environment while connecting with others in the community.

Whether you’re considering music lessons for yourself or your child, returning to an instrument after years away, or simply curious about trying something new, the event will offer something for everyone. FMAA welcomes students of all ages and experience levels and believes music is a lifelong journey that can be enjoyed by everyone.

“We’re excited to welcome the community for an afternoon of hands-on musical exploration,” FMAA Owner Sally Eppert said. “For nearly 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students discover confidence and creativity through music. There’s nothing more rewarding than inspiring the multiple generations of students to develop a lifelong love of music.”

The event is free and open to the public. All ages are encouraged to attend. To learn more about Fishers Music & Arts Academy, visit fishersmaa.com or call (463) 228-0200.
