Elizabethe Anne “Bethe” (Horine) Beaver

May 1, 1965 – April 5, 2023

Mrs. Elizabethe Anne “Bethe” (Horine) Beaver, 57, Noblesville, entered this life on May 1, 1965, and passed with her devoted husband Ricky Jo Beaver, 60, on April 5, 2023. Bethe was the loving daughter of Carla Horine and the late Nelson “Bud” Horine (deceased June 10, 2020), and stepmother Dottie Horine, and mother to her three children, four stepchildren, and nine grandchildren.

Bethe was born in Madison, Ind., raised in Noblesville, and was immensely proud to call both her home. She was a 1983 graduate of Noblesville High School (NHS) and a 1988 graduate of Indiana University (IU Bloomington) with a B.S. in Public Affairs & Public Policy, Political Science, and U.S. History. Bethe continued her education completing a B.S. in Secondary Education in 1994. While in high school, Bethe participated in cheerleading, track & field, student government, NHS Singers, FCA, Young Life, Campaigners and DC Experience. While pursuing higher education at IU, Bethe was a member and officer of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Student Athletic Board, Panhellenic Association, Rush Counselor and Director, FCA, Greek Fellowship and IU Fit Instructor.

Bethe began her professional career as a Staff Assistant for Indiana Congressman Dan Burton (1989-1991) in the Indianapolis and then Washington, D.C. office. She returned to Indiana as a CSR for Waste Management Inc. (1991-1993). Next, Bethe went on to teach Social Studies concentrating in Government, Economics and U.S. History. This is where she began her now Legendary coaching career with the “Millers” at NHS (1992-1999). The highlight of Bethe’s professional career was founding Indiana Elite Cheer & Tumbling in 1999 (IE). This inception created a vision and led to her building a cheerleading dynasty reaching over 750 young athletes a year with her business partner Karlette McClure for the past 25 years.

Bethe and Rick’s most recent stewardship passions included their home church White River Christian, actively serving with Crossroads and Hamilton County Great Banquets, Leaders for Noblesville Young Life and the annual “Turkey Trot” for the Michael Treinen Foundation. Last year, Bethe became aware of a need within the Noblesville Elementary Football League (NEFL). Consequently, she Quarterbacked the effort to raise the modest elementary cheerleader program participants and now within one year over 100 girls are now enjoying NEFL.

Bethe enjoyed very close friendships with her weekly Bible Study group and mentoring the Kappa’s in Bloomington while serving the past few years on their Rush Advisory Board. Bethe’s immense faith defined and guided her every day as she simply loved life. She loved her coffee in the morning on the front porch with her puppies Ginger and Piper resting at her feet while reading her daily devotions. She loved traveling with Rick on their many adventures to the beach, mountains, Love Song Cruises or simply to the Spa with her sisters. She was an insatiable foodie and enjoyed playing the piano and golf. Bethe was a true sports enthusiast of all levels, whether watching her own children participate: hockey, lacrosse, cheerleading, a Sunday Indianapolis Colts game or her die-hard allegiance to the Cream & Crimson of Indiana University.

Bethe was a nurturing mother who loved hard and big. For the past year she radiated even brighter with joy and videos enjoying babysitting her new twin granddaughters every Wednesday. Her compassion for her children even led to welcoming several into her own home to “ride out the storm.” She was more than just a coach to her athletes she was an advocate for each who allowed her a chance to enter their lives. Bethe was more than just a daughter or sibling – she was a best friend. Bethe’s energy, spirit, and competitive nature were unmatched. Whether she was hosting Family Game Night, playing Euchre, working out at Pure Barre/YMCA, or leading her IE teams to another championship banner, she always led the charge with a vivacious fire and spirit. Bethe will be deeply missed by her children, family, friends, and the entire community.
