On Aug. 4, five days before Dan Strong’s planned resignation as the town’s Project Coordinator, the Cicero Town Council presented Dan and Teri Strong with a proclamation acknowledging their service to the Cicero community.
Dan has served as the town’s Project Coordinator, as well as on the Town Council, as Plan Commission President, on the Park Board, on the Board of Zoning Appeals, and in many other capacities. Teri has served on Our Town Cicero, BZA, the Planning Commission, and numerous committees. They were longtime owners of the Cicero McDonald’s.
Their leadership, hard work, and service to their community and its citizens have been given with such devotion that they have earned the respect, admiration, dedication, and friendship of not only the Cicero Town Council, but also the employees and citizens of Cicero alike.
When presenting the Hamilton County Commissioners’ Rampart Award to Dan Strong, Commissioner Mark Heirbrandt called Dan “a pillar in the community – dependable, trustworthy, and someone who truly cares about Cicero.”
The Town Council proclaimed August 4 shall be observed as Dan and Teri Strong day for their service and dedication to Cicero.
