Candidate asks for help with getting precinct committee list

Dear Editor:

For all my friends in Carmel, Westfield, Noblesville and Fishers, as of today and after multiple requests to our county party chair; I still have not received a copy of the District 20 Precinct Committee list of those that will have a vote in the upcoming Senate D20 caucus.

I have filed and declared . . . it’s official.

I need a grassroots effort from you and your friends in asking why a viable candidate is not given access to what other candidates have been given in this caucus.

Each precinct committee member has already received countless letters, already have had countless phone calls & conversations with and have had face-to-face time with the other candidates.

All the other candidates have received a copy of the list, but I have not.

As of today (and since my original & countless requests starting on July 10th); I have not been given access to the list of precinct committee members who will make this vote in the upcoming Senate D20 Caucus.

My request of you is this, please reach out to your District 20 Precinct Committee member and ask him/her to give me the opportunity to discuss the ideas, visions and line on District 20 and give me a fair process in this caucus.  I’m only asking for the same fair & equal treatment as the other candidates have been given.

Without this opportunity and fundamental right as a candidate, then our county chair “may” have broken her campaign promises on making our county party more unified, transparent and fair to all eligible & qualified candidates seeking an elected office.

What are your thoughts?

Joe Morris

I think the inaction by our party chair is deplorable and she needs to resign immediately. There is no room in our Hamilton County Republican party for this type of inaction. You may quote me if you would like.
