Brenda Kay (Moseley) Stevens was born in Louisville, Ky., on August 12, 1962. She passed away peacefully at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis on May 1, 2024. She was surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren by her side.
In her time spent with us here, she loved to go by the water and feed the ducks. She loved to drive to Morse beach and watch the sun come up over the water. She kept her life simple. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mom of her two daughters.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur William Moseley Sr. and Shirley Ann (Meador) Moseley. She is survived by her sister, Davida Jean (Moseley) Jones, her two brothers Larry Lynn Moseley and Arthur William Moseley Jr.; her two daughters, Susan Marie (Stevens) Hawkins (husband, Michael Hawkins II), and Jessica Stevens (fiancé Perry [Isaiah] Freeman.) Brenda is also survived by her five grandchildren, Wesli Stevens, Michael Hawkins III, Khloe Hawkins, Melanie Stevens, and Makiya Stevens.
Brenda had chosen to be cremated and wished to have no other services. Her daughters are honoring those wishes, so at this time no services will be held, however a Celebration of Life will be decided at a later time.
