Ritchie Joe Gray, a beloved resident of Spring Hill, Fla., passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 63. His life was marked by dedication, service, and a deep love for family, nature, and music.

Ritch was born on August 12, 1960, to Donald and Muriel Gray in Lebanon, Ind. He grew up surrounded by the love of his parents and siblings. Unfortunately, Ritch was predeceased by his father, Donald Gray, his mother, Muriel Gray, and his brother, Bruce Allen Gray and grandparents. However, he leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving family members: sons, Nathan Gray and Zachery Gray; daughter, Johna Gray; granddaughter, Ruth Lennon Gray; brother, Gary Gray; sisters, Cheryl Skaggs, Denise McDonald, and Jayne Gribble; brothers-in-law, Jim Skaggs, John McDonald, and John Gribble; sister-in-law, Christine Gray; along with several nieces and nephews.

Ritch’s life was multifaceted, reflecting his diverse interests and passions. He served in various capacities, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Ritch proudly served in the Drum and Bugle Corps of the United States Marine Corps. His commitment to duty and discipline exemplified the core values of the Marines. As a Montgomery County narcotics sheriff deputy, Ritch worked tirelessly to keep his community safe. His dedication to law enforcement was unwavering. Ritch’s analytical mind led him to a successful career as a manufacturing engineer. His contributions to industry and innovation were significant. Beyond his professional life, Ritch found joy in several hobbies:
