Jeffrey “Jeff” Brooks DeVault, 52, Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Indianapolis.
Jeff was born in Indianapolis on September 2, 1971, to the late Jerry and Audrie (Brooks) DeVault.
Jeff grew up in the Cicero area and attended Hamilton Heights High School. Following graduation, Jeff started working in construction and decided that would be his career path. He worked for several construction companies throughout the greater Indianapolis area. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he could go fishing and camping.
Jeff is survived by his brother, Matthew Robert DeVault of Alexandria; nephews, Benjamin & David DeVault; and nieces, Elizabeth & Rebekah DeVault, all of Alexandria.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Audrie DeVault.
Jeff’s wishes were to be cremated and buried in Cicero with his parents. The family has entrusted Jeff’s care to Hartley Funeral Homes.
