Terry L. Crowell

April 17, 1952 – April 26, 2024

Terry L. Crowell, 72, Cicero, passed away after battling cancer on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Riverview Hospital. Terry was born in Columbia City on April 17, 1952, to the late Kenny and Betty (Wilcoxson) Crowell.

Terry attended Columbia City High School in Columbia City, Ind. After graduating Terry started his construction career by building and remodeling homes with his father. Many years later he moved to Indianapolis where he met the love of his life, Jody McClure, and became an entrepreneur continuing in the construction field. Jody and Terry relocated to Cicero where they shared over 30 years together. They enjoyed gardening, neighborhood block parties, watching movies, boating, and sharing a love for their many pets. In his free time, Terry enjoyed golf, keeping his yard in order, and looking after his neighbors. Terry loved building things and working with his hands, and he enjoyed watching the local professional sports teams, the Colts and Pacers.

Terry is survived by his sons, Joshua Crowell of Columbia City and Wesley Crowell of Columbia City; daughter, Meghan Crowell of Pennsylvania; life partner, Jo Ann “Jody” McClure of Cicero; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny & Betty Crowell; daughter, Nichole Crowell; and sister, Linda Landis.

Terry’s wishes were to be cremated and the family has chosen Hartley Funeral Homes with Terry’s care.
