Michael J. Black

February 23, 15954 – November 29, 2018

Michael J. Black, 64, Alexandria, Ind., passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Community Hospital of Anderson. He was born on February 23, 1954 to Keith and Lois (Camp) Black in Noblesville.

Michael was a farmer and retired school bus driver/mechanic for Noblesville Schools and Hamilton Southeastern Schools. He was the owner of a tile ditching company, Black Ditching, LLC. Michael was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Yorktown, the Chapter 7 IHC Club and the Hamilton County Pork Producers. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors with his sons, antique tractor pulling and gardening. Michael loved his pets, Duke and Colt. The three could always be seen riding in his truck. Michael never met a stranger, he was always jolly and had a contagious laugh. Michael valued and loved his family, always making quality time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn M. Black; son, Craig Black; daughter, Kelli (Joel) Kingen; son, Doug (Nikki) Black; sister, Tracie M. (Black) Cramer; brother, Keith E. Black II; and sister, Karen A. Black.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Pearl Black.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
