The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that a closure is planned for this weekend on the Interstate 465 eastbound ramp to U.S. 31 northbound. The ramp closure will begin around 9 p.m. on Friday, March 13, and remain in place until reopening Monday, March 16 around 6 a.m.
A signed detour will be available. Motorists can access northbound U.S. 31 from I-465 eastbound by using the Keystone Avenue exit, traveling north onto Keystone, turning west at the East 96th Street exit and taking the roundabout back to southbound Keystone Avenue. They can then exit onto I-465 westbound and take the exit on to U.S. 31 northbound.
Timing of scheduled work may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage, and allow additional travel time this weekend while this work is underway.
