Noblesville Schools announced Tuesday, April 14 that the Board of Trustees is one of only five in Indiana to earn an Exemplary Board Award through the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA). This is the highest level ISBA honors and is the second year in a row that the Noblesville board has earned the distinction.
Additionally, Christi Crosser, Stephanie Lambert, and Misti Ray earned the highest level of exemplary individual board member distinctions for their professional development accomplishments. Dr. Joe Forgey already reached the highest level of individual distinction in 2022, and board member Bret Richardson is currently working towards this individual recognition for future years.
“We’re fortunate to have a school board that is so invested in the success of our students, staff and community,” Superintendent Dr. Dan Hile said. “This recognition is well-deserved by our board as they are collaborative, service-orientated, and focused on the continuous improvement of not only our school district, but on their own performance and effectiveness as well. I’m honored to serve our community alongside them as they truly lead with excellence.”
The Exemplary Governance recognition of excellence honors school boards who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to public service, and the highest levels of commitment to student success, continuous improvement, and professional learning.
The Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees is made up of five elected community members, with president Christi Crosser, vice president Stephanie Lambert, secretary Dr. Joe Forgey, and members Misti Ray and Bret Richardson currently serving.
