Jill Virginia Williams

Jill Virginia Williams, 89, Noblesville, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo.

Jill built a career in sales and held a variety of creative jobs over the years, bringing her considerable talent to everything she took on. But more than anything, she loved her family and friends, and she placed her family above all else in life. Those who knew her remember her as selfless, always thinking of others before herself. She was an avid golfer, an enthusiastic traveler, and a lifelong reader, finding joy on the course, on the road, and in the pages of a good book.

Jill is survived by her two sons, Kent VanHoogstraat (Cindy) and Scott VanHoogstraat (Leslie), who she loved dearly. She was also blessed with six grandchildren, Dean (Emily), Lora (Ben), Samuel, Joseph (Jeannette), Sarah (Becky), and Selina; and six great-grandchildren, Emilia, Marcos, Maddy, Owen, Murphy, and Gus, who brought her great joy and pride. She is also survived by her sister, Ellen Foley (Doug), and their children, Timothy and Henry (Keely), as well as her niece, Sally Schmiz (Matt Krulic), and Sally’s sons, Michael Schmiz and Parker Schmiz.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Foley; her father, Frank Williams; her stepfather, Jack Foley; her stepmother, Laverne Williams; and her sister, Susan Brandt (Lloyd).

A celebration of life for family and friends is being planned for spring 2027; details will be shared as they are finalized.
