Hamilton Heights lost a tough game at Frankton on Thursday, 77-71.
The Class 2A No. 8 Eagles took an early lead on the Huskies, going up 25-14 after the first quarter. Heights played a little more even with Frankton in the other three periods, cutting the lead to 37-29 by halftime, but couldn’t come all the way back.
Four Huskies players landed in double figures. AJ Field poured in 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting and pulled five rebounds, while Gus Etchison added 18 points and also handed out five assists. Issiac Hickok and Hudson Hochstedler both scored 12 points. Hickok, Cory Vonfeldt, Brent Pennington all corralled four rebounds, while Hochstedler dished out three assists.
Heights is 10-6 and will host Sheridan on Tuesday.
