The Hamilton Heights baseball team earned a Hoosier Conference East Division split with Northwestern Wednesday, beating the Tigers 2-1 in a home game.

Kyle Michael stepped up after Irion, and his center field line drive brought both Mason and Irion in to score.

Heights totaled three hits in the game, with Mason connecting on a single in the first inning. Kaleb Murray pitched an outstanding game, going five and two-thirds innings and allowing just one hit while tossing six strikeouts. Lucas Spicer pitched one and a third innings of no-hit baseball to get the save.

The Huskies are 8-6 overall and play at Daleville Saturday morning.
