Submitted

A mini horse. A calf. Alpacas that are so soft.

This spring, Bierman Autism Centers is bringing a real working farm to Westfield.

Spring on the Farm is a free, sensory-friendly outdoor event designed specifically for children with autism and other developmental needs, while welcoming siblings, caregivers, and the broader community. Families can expect a calm, predictable morning with the flexibility many children need to feel at ease in new experiences.

Spring on the Farm will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 2 at Bierman Autism Centers, 16414 Southpark Drive, Westfield.

“These aren’t just fun mornings; they are carefully designed experiences,” said Elizabeth Henry, MS, BCBA, COBA, EVP of Services at Bierman Autism Centers. “Every element, from the animal selection to the quiet corners to the pacing of the event, is built with the child in mind. The goal is a morning where every family leaves feeling like it was a win.”

RSVP at biermanautism.com/events. Capacity is limited to protect the sensory environment.

What families can expect
