Carla Mercedes Hynes

Carla Mercedes Hynes, born on October 14, 1975, in Tucson, Ariz., was a thoughtful woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Carla passed away on August 7, 2026, in Noblesville, at the age of 50. She was a talented individual who courageously ventured into new opportunities, even when they were challenging.

She was an All-American cross-country runner during her collegiate years at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz., a testament to her adventurous spirit and determination. Despite her many accomplishments, what mattered most to Carla were her children. She is survived by her children, Devin Rhodes, Gabriel Andoniadis, and Leah Andoniadis. Their happiness and well-being were her greatest pride and joy.

Carla was a member of her local women’s church group, where she showed her caring nature and willingness to help others. Her brother, Roberto Estrella, survives her, and they shared many unforgettable moments and experiences. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Lydia Estrella, whose love and guidance shaped Carla into the woman she became.

In her 50 years of life, Carla was a beacon of inspiration, a creative soul, and a thoughtful friend. Most importantly her life and personality always reflected Jesus, living her life to the fullest and always seeking new adventures while spreading the gospel anytime an opportunity presented itself. This is the life Carla lived, and the legacy she leaves behind.
