Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad will hold its second annual Community Day at Hobbs Station in Noblesville’s Forest Park. The fun will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
The free, family-friendly event will celebrate Noblesville’s railroad heritage while bringing the community together for a day of education, entertainment, and hands-on experiences.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore historic railroad equipment and learn more about the history and preservation efforts of the Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad. Activities will include touch-a-truck displays, food vendors, garage sale, entertainment, train safety information, and tours of historic train cars.

Take a ride on the train with $5 Caboose Rides
Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad will $5 Caboose Rides during Community Day. This is a highlight of Community Day and offers guests the chance to experience a 15-minute rail journey with a scenic view of the White River.
