Cody Russel Campbell

November 22, 1989 – August 6, 2025

Cody Russel Campbell, born on November 22, 1989, in Noblesville, was a man of numerous talents and an overflowing heart. Cody unexpectedly passed away on August 6, 2025.

As the famous quote goes, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” Cody embodied this virtue throughout his life. He was a creative soul, crafting beautiful pieces in his carpentry work. His dedication to his craft led him to start his own business, AFC Carpentry, an achievement that brought him immense pride.

Cody was resilient, weathering life’s storms with a spirit that refused to be broken. His generous nature was evident in his willingness to give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. His life was a testament to the power of hard work, sympathy, and love. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like fishing, farming, and camping. However, what mattered most to Cody was his family. He was a loving father to his children, Colton, Kaysie, and Cody Jr., and a devoted partner to Heather Garrett. He cherished his time with his family, making every moment count.

Cody leaves behind his mother, Jessica Hamrick; father. Todd Campbell; brothers Brice and Austin Campbell; and his children. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kay and Jim Muir, Bill Werner, and Renate Werner. His life was a journey that touched countless hearts, and his memory will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Cody’s life will be honored at a visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ben Poole officiating. Both will be held at Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Home, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero. Graveside services with military honors will follow the funeral at Boxley Cemetery in Sheridan.

As we remember Cody, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. It is through these shared moments that his spirit will continue to thrive. Cody Campbell, a man of character, tenacity, and kindness, may have departed from this world, but his legacy remains steadfast in our hearts.
