Centier Bank donates $20K to Humane Society

Centier Bank recently made a $20,000 donation to the Humane Society for Hamilton County’s new, state-of-the-art shelter in Fishers. A check was presented at the construction site at 106th Street and Hague Road on Aug. 3.

Troy Kafka, Greater Indianapolis Market President at Centier Bank, said the bank partnered with the Humane Society for Hamilton County for in the past, having served as its main sponsor for the Woofstock 5K Dog Walk and concert in 2019. The organization takes in over 3,000 abused, neglected and seriously injured animals each year. Construction on the new shelter began earlier this year.

“Centier Bank prides ourselves on being at the heart of the community, and we are proud to support Humane Society for Hamilton County to help build the new facility,” Kafka said. “This way, the organization can do what it does best: Save more lives, expand education, and provide happier and healthier lives for the animals.”

Williams

Max Williams, Director of Marketing for the Humane Society for Hamilton County, said construction on the new 40,000 square-foot facility will be complete in the spring of 2021. He said the organization is grateful for its partnership with Centier Bank because of the bank’s commitment to Indiana communities and helping them thrive.

“The need for this new facility was substantial, and we are so grateful for the support we’ve received from Centier Bank because it helps us fulfill our mission to save lives, educate communities and complete families,” Williams said. “We are so excited for its completion and how it will make Hamilton County an even better place to live and work.”
