Kroger Symphony on the Prairie to welcome Melissa Etheridge & Face 2 Face

A weekend of two great shows is coming up at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.

On Friday, Aug. 5, award-winning singer and one of rock music’s greatest female icons Melissa Etheridge will make a stop on her One Way Out Tour. Her critically acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double platinum. Her popularity grew around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs,” and “Ain’t It Heavy” for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Her hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am, featuring the massive hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy. The six-time platinum album spent more than two and a half years on the album chart. She is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007.

On Saturday, Aug. 6, the Prairie will light up with Face 2 Face, an amazing tribute to superstars Elton John and Billy Joel. Don’t miss this high-energy, interactive rock n’ roll show that covers the best of songs from these two icons.

General admission lawn seats, reserved seating, tables, and seats in the Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge are available for purchase. VIP packages are also available for Aug. 5.
