Indiana Right to Life PAC endorses Max Engling for Secretary of State

Indiana Right to Life Political Action Committee announced on Wednesday, Sept. 16, its endorsement of Max Engling for Indiana Secretary of State.

The pro-life organization said it endorses Engling because of his track record and commitment to making Indiana a national model for supporting pregnant mothers and protecting unborn babies. The PAC also cited Engling’s commitment to safeguarding the integrity of Indiana’s election system, calling it essential to preventing fraud and preserving Hoosiers’ trust in the polls.

The PAC’s endorsement draws a sharp contrast with Engling’s opponent, Beau Bayh, who the PAC noted has been endorsed by an abortion-rights organization. The PAC linked that endorsement to the record of Bayh’s father, former Governor Evan Bayh, during whose administration more than 13,000 unborn children died by abortion annually in Indiana – among the highest yearly totals in state history.

“Max Engling’s vision for Indiana includes compassionate support for pregnant mothers and protection for unborn babies,” Indiana Right to Life PAC Chairman Mike Fichter said. “It has long been our goal to make Indiana a model in the nation for supporting moms and babies – to love them both – and that requires strong support from leaders like Max. Max Engling will also work hard to ensure the integrity of Indiana’s election process, which is vital to preventing the type of fraud that would undermine Hoosier values at the polls.”
