Congresswoman Victoria Spartz issued the following statement after losing her re-election bid for Congress.
Democrats ran a ruthless, well-funded, well-organized offensive across the country, using lies and exploiting people’s frustrations. However, I believe people will wake up and realize how destructive Democrat policies are.
Republicans can’t afford another cycle of disorganization, weak turnout, and soft messaging. We need to get sharper, tougher, and far more effective. We need to engage Democrats in debates over real policy solutions. We also need to clean up our own party and confront those who collude with Democrats.
As for my race, God always has a reason for everything. Now I will have more time back home in Indiana to regroup and reorganize – instead of wasting my time on Democrat circuses in D.C.
And to my political adversaries in both parties: I am not going anywhere. I will have more time on the ground now – be careful what you wish for! I will make some announcements in the next few months.
