There are a variety of locations and experiences across the city to draw your attention. Below are just a few.
Fan fests and tailgates
At the Indiana Convention Center, the men’s Final Four Fan Fest tips off on April 3. Tickets are $15 during the event week, but early bird prices are $10. Kids 12 and under get in free with an adult ticket purchase!
Just steps away on Georgia Street, the Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate will also be underway.
For the music lovers
You can head to the March Madness Music Festival at American Legion Mall between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets.
Twenty One Pilots, the Zac Brown Band, and Megan Moroney will headline the festival April 3 through 5.
And what’s better than good music? It’s free.
For the kids
On April 5, young fans can take part in the Final Four Dribble at Carroll Stadium on West New York Street, where kids 18 and under parade through downtown and finish at the Fan Fest.
While this event is free, participants must register. The first 3,000 preregistered kids will receive a Final Four Dribble shirt, a themed Wilson basketball, and free entry into Fan Fest.
Road closures
It couldn’t all be easy. With the excitement comes some disruption.
Starting Thursday and Friday, there will be road closures around the American Legion Mall as crews prepare for Final Four festivities.
- March 19: North Street closed between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets.
- March 20: North Street still closed between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets. Pennsylvania Street will be partially closed from St. Clair to Michigan streets.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says more closures will be announced at a later date. They are expected to last until April 9.
