Monon Boulevard
Beginning on or after Monday, Jan. 26, southbound Monon Boulevard will be closed to thru traffic between Elm Street and Walnut Street to facilitate work on an adjacent cell tower.
A detour route will be provided via Elm Street, 3rd Avenue SW, and Walnut Street. Additionally, the Monon Greenway and the sidewalk on the west side of Monon Boulevard will be closed.
A pedestrian detour will be provided via the sidewalk on the east side of Monon Boulevard. The closures will be in place daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for one week.
I-465 Lane Closures
The Indiana Department of Transportation announced overnight lane closures are planned on Interstate 465 on the north side of Indianapolis. These closures are part of the ongoing construction on the Township Line Road bridge over I-465.
The following lane closures are scheduled from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly between U.S. 421 (Michigan Road) and Ditch Road:
- Thursday, Jan. 22 and Friday, Jan. 23: Two right lanes closed on I-465 westbound
- Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 27: Two left lanes closed on I-465 westbound
- Wednesday, Jan. 28 and Thursday, Jan. 29: Two left lanes closed on I-465 eastbound
- Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31: Two right lanes closed on I-465 eastbound
