Westfield Residents,

Willis
Yet another incredible year has come and gone, and what a year it’s been! Every holiday season, I’m reminded of what an incredible privilege it is to serve this community and amazed by just how much can be accomplished in a single 365-day period.
This year, my team kept their feet on the gas and never let up. They have consistently delivered the high-quality services our residents have come to know and expect all while securing new, meaningful wins for Westfield, and for that, I thank them wholeheartedly.
While it’s incredibly difficult to choose which accomplishments stand out the most, a few highlights rise to the top in my mind, particularly those focusing on strengthening our business community:
- Together we Braved the Barricades and supported existing local businesses, while welcoming even more new establishments to our area.
- Major companies from across Indiana and the country chose Westfield as their new home, and several broke ground on their projects, bringing hundreds of high-wage jobs to our area.
- The visions for the Grand Park District and our soon-to-be bustling downtown area were unveiled, giving a glimpse into what Westfield’s economic and community life will look like in the future.
And, as painful as it may have been, I’d be remiss not to mention that we collectively endured a record-setting year of infrastructure investment. Thank you all for your patience as we improved our roads, trails, and more to keep pace with our explosive growth.
As we look ahead to the new year, 2026 is going to be even bigger and better! We have much to look forward to, including the completion of State Road 32 construction, the opening of two new fire stations (Stations 84 and 85) to meet the increasing demands of our growing city, making significant investment into our roads and infrastructure, and the opening of more local businesses.
If you’d like to learn more about what 2026 and beyond will look like for our community, I invite you to join me as I present our State of the City presentation on Wednesday, January 28 at 7 p.m. at the Westfield High School Auditorium (18250 N. Union Street). This event is free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required.
As always, Westfield, thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of being your Mayor. Let us work hand in hand to build a Westfield that we can all be proud of.
In service,
Scott Willis
Mayor of Westfield, Ind.
