On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Governor Mike Braun announced several appointments of Hoosiers from across the state to various boards and commissions. Locally, seven people from Hamilton County and one person from Tipton County were appointed.
Hamilton County appointees
- Matthew Macaluso of Keller Macaluso LLC was appointed to the Indiana Business Law Survey Commission, serving at the pleasure of the governor.
- Blaine Walters of USIC was appointed to the Underground Plant Protection Advisory Committee, with a term expiring Oct. 31, 2029.
- Jonathan Whitham with the State of Indiana was appointed to the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board, serving at the pleasure of the governor.
- Sophie McGowen with the State of Indiana was appointed to the Governor’s Residence Commission, serving at the pleasure of the governor.
- Bruce Donaldson (retired) was appointed to the Marion County Capital Improvement Board, with a term expiring Jan. 15, 2027.
- Jason Shonkwiler of the Noblesville Police Department was appointed to the Secured School Safety Board, serving at the pleasure of the governor.
- Thomas Manske (retired) was appointed to the Retirement Home Guaranty Fund Board, with a term expiring Sept. 30, 2026.
Tipton County appointee
- Jason Henderson, the Tipton County Surveyor, was appointed to the State Board of Registration for Land Surveyors, with a term expiring Sept. 30, 2029.
