Want to know the six reasons people agree to be spies? Find out at CSO007, featuring former CIA spy and novelist Gene Coyle.
Set for Thursday, Aug. 21 at the Woodland Country Club, 100 Woodland Lane, Carmel, the evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a James Bond Martini Bar and cocktails. Dinner will follow at 6 p.m. Carmel Symphony Orchestra pianist Patrick Fata will perform selections from the James Bond film series.
Gene Coyle, recipient of the CIA’s Intelligence Medal of Merit, spent more than 30 years as a field officer for the Central Intelligence Agency. He lived an exciting – and occasionally dangerous – life as a CIA spy. Now, as a retired Indiana University professor, he writes spy novels.
Coyle will share stories about “dead drops,” “brush exchanges,” and carrying a .357 Magnum in the days after the 9/11 attacks.
Get your tickets now at this 007 link. Cost is $85 per person or $680 for a table of eight. The evening is sure to leave you shaken … not stirred.
