Hamilton County Parks and Recreation (HCPR) is celebrating the 20th year of its Nature’s Inspirations art exhibit at the Cool Creek Park Nature Center, 2000 E. 151st St., open now through March 9 during nature center hours of operation.

The exhibit showcases artwork inspired by nature, with some pieces available for purchase. Proceeds support local artists and the parks department.

“This exhibit is a fantastic way to support local artists while celebrating the nature that inspires their work,” HCPR Director Chris Stice said. “We’re happy to offer a platform for local talent and to encourage the community’s appreciation of nature through art.”

The exhibit features a range of artwork in diverse mediums, including photography, paintings, and sculptures, all focused on wildlife and landscapes. HCPR Superintendent of Natural Resources Amanda Smith said, “We’re thrilled to have many returning artists as well as first-time artists submit their work to Nature’s Inspirations. Each piece brings a unique perspective and allows the audience to feel a powerful connection to nature.”

The free exhibit is a wonderful opportunity for art lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts to come together and appreciate the creativity and beauty that stems from the natural environment. Visit the Cool Creek Park Nature Center (Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.) now through March 9 to experience this exceptional celebration of art and nature, and enjoy the other free activities, animals, and learning opportunities at the nature center.
