At just 13 years old, Brynn Cummings has been winning over the hearts of people everywhere with her creative performances. She premiered on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent and received unanimous YES votes from all four judges – including Simon Cowell – and was incredibly excited to be an AGT semi-finalist. Her natural talent and stage presence are something to behold for all ages.

As a promising athlete, Derrick Tennant was progressing in his dream for a career in sports when one evening he lied down but did not wake up for three days. Paralyzed and in a coma, he underwent brain surgery from which he became unable to move his left side. It would take years of therapy to re-learn the basics like walking, talking and simple daily tasks. He worked hard to overcome physical challenges and now works just as hard to help others overcome trials through his comedy and inspirational speaking.

Chad Thornsberry draws on experiences ranging from growing up in a trailer park, being a former public school teacher, his marriage, kids, and all of life’s everyday problems. His own unique view of life has him quickly becoming one of the most sought-after clean comedians today. A contrast to the high energy, in-your-face comedians that are prevalent today, his slow-paced, conversational style immediately puts audiences at ease.

CrossRoads Church’s Lead Pastor Eric Lohe said he believes that free pizza and comedy acts are a perfect mix to bring the community together in the midst of a cold and often dreary winter. Pizza and Punchlines is part of the Westfield church’s For Our Neighbor strategy to serve the local community. Greek’s Pizzeria in Westfield is teaming up with CrossRoads to provide great pizza to start off this grand night.

Seeking to meet, know, enjoy, and serve local neighbors, CrossRoads Church at Westfield provides free pet food every first Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m., free Zumba every Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m., Shepherd Center’s Together Today for senior adults every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Celebrate Recovery – a faith-based recovery program – every Thursday night from 6:15 to 9 p.m. on the campus at 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield.

The church also sponsors the well-attended and immensely popular Wild, Wild Westfield Fall Festival and Premier Chili-Cook-off, this year being held on Saturday, Sept. 27 4 to 7 p.m. on the church’s campus.

This summer, CrossRoads Church will welcome 200 high school students from all over the country for a week to do free home repairs for local Hamilton County residents.
