Royals sweep their own Holiday Splash

Hamilton Southeastern swept the team trophies at the Royals’ annual Forum Credit Union Holiday Splash last Saturday.

The Southeastern girls won 10 of 12 events while scoring 711 points. Kendall Dieckman was a double winner in the individual medley and 500 freestyle, Naomi Haines picked up two wins: the butterfly and backstroke, and Kiley Zoeller got two victories, taking the 50 and 100 freestyles. Other first-place finishers were Mia Henderson in the 200 free, Lauren Ing in the breaststroke and the medley and 400 free relays.

In the boys meet, the Royals won five events and scored 609 points. Jihoon Jung picked up two wins in the 200 free and butterfly. Southeastern began the meet by placing first in the medley relay, then Camden Bailey was first in the 100 free and Collin Huston won the breaststroke.
