Sheridan girls give Providence Cristo Rey the Blackhawk Beatdown, scores 16-0 win

The Hamilton Heights and Sheridan girls soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie on Monday.

Both teams scored their respective goals in the second half. Cecilia Timme got the Blackhawks’ goal, assisted by Abby Dallas, while Natalie Marcum scored for the Huskies, with Lizzy Smith making the assist.

Heights’ Audrey Lang had 22 saves, while Avery Hills made six saves for Sheridan.

The Huskies are 7-1-3 for the season and play Logansport on Thursday.

Sheridan came back on Tuesday to beat Providence Cristo Rey 16-0.

Hills scored three goals for the Hawks, with Timme and Mak Southerland each scoring two. Sadie Timme made two assists.

Sheridan is 8-3-1 and plays Thursday at Brebeuf Jesuit.

Carmel won a Monday game over North Central 3-0.

Olivia Cebalo scored two goals for the Greyhounds, while Vaughn Rohrbacher scored one. Camryn Love made two assists and Cebalo handed out one assist.

Carmel is 8-2-1 and hosts Castle on Saturday afternoon.

Fishers picked up a Hoosier Crossroads Conference victory Monday, beating Franklin Central 3-0.

Grace Preston, Iris Martin and Emerson Huneck all scored one goal each for the Tigers. Elise May had two assists and Huneck made one assist.

Fishers is 2-2-1 in HCC play and 6-3-2 overall. The Tigers host Brownsburg tonight for another conference game.

University won a Pioneer Conference game over Greenwood Christian Academy 3-0 on Monday.

Mack Feeney put in two goals for the Trailblazers, with Bella Miller Krigger scoring one.

University dropped an 8-0 game to Park Tudor on Tuesday. The Blazers are 5-4 and host Tipton Thursday.
