HWC Engineering expands traffic engineering & design capabilities

HWC Engineering of Indianapolis welcomes three new engineers, Kevin Miller, Matthew DeRose, and Jayson Earleywine, an action that will expand and enhance HWC’s traffic engineering and design capabilities.

“HWC is committed to growing and refining our capabilities for our clients,” HWC President Terry Baker said. “With the addition of Kevin, Matthew, and Jayson, we are expanding our traffic knowledge and expertise to our already-deep bench of transportation planning and design. These services will add value to our projects, and we are confident that these enhanced capabilities will allow us to better serve our clients.”

Miller

Miller now serves as the Traffic Engineering Manager for HWC and will provide oversight and guidance on traffic services for not only the transportation department, but for other multi-disciplined projects, as needed. He has more than 25 years of traffic engineering and transportation planning experience with expertise in traffic data collection, forecasting, traffic impact studies, operational analyses, signal warrant studies, HAWK signals, and traffic safety evaluations. His portfolio experience and expansive knowledge will augment HWC’s exceptional industry knowledge.

DeRose and Earleywine, both Project Managers, will work alongside Miller as a fully functional traffic engineering group. DeRose offers a decade of experience in traffic signal, signing, lighting, and roadway design, in additional to traffic safety analysis, while Earleywine brings more than 25 years of experience in transportation design, including traffic signals, utility coordination, roundabout design, and lighting.
