Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, will hold the MORE THAN PINK Walk on Oct. 8 in Indianapolis. The walk will be held in Celebration Plaza at White River State Park and proceeds will advance the organization’s mission, fund groundbreaking research, and provide direct support to people facing breast cancer.
“We are excited to welcome Walk participants back in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer,” said Jennifer Milewski, State Executive Director of Indiana & Kentucky at Susan G. Komen. “Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us in October and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever.”
This year’s event will be back in-person to support breast cancer patients and their families in the community. A virtual walk experience will also be offered.
The Power of ONE Week – a week’s worth of events to honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer – will precede the walk from Oct. 3 to 7.
