The Speedway gas station at 510 Westfield Road, Noblesville, was closed this week. As of Monday afternoon, crews were already taking out pumps and removing branded signage. Apparently, regardless of what the owners of Speedway gas stations may have had in mind, the employees were notified no sooner than last Friday. The property was leased and the lease was not renewed. The Reporter was told that all employees at this location were given the opportunity to transfer to other stations if they so choose.

A more educated conclusion is that the road construction and resulting roundabout killed their business. It’s very inconvenient to enter/exit the Speedway.
