The Sheridan Youth Assistance Program (SYAP) held its annual Denim and Lace fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 13, at West Fork Whiskey in Westfield. The evening was a tremendous success, raising $44,000 to support programs and services that strengthen youth and families in the Sheridan community.

The night began with a social hour, followed by a catered dinner provided by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering and desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Guests enjoyed bidding on silent auction items, participating in raffles and games, and hearing more about SYAP’s mission to provide meaningful opportunities and experiences that promote growth for local youth.

Indiana State Police Officer John Perrine returned as emcee, a role he has held since the first Denim and Lace event. The evening also featured retired Early Intervention Advocate, Lisa Samuels, as she introduced the new Advocate Beth Sabelhaus.
