On Monday night, the Sheridan Community Schools (SCS) Board of Trustees reorganized with two new members joining the five-member board.

After serving 12 ½ years on the board, former Board President Todd Roberts did not seek reelection.

Roberts, who will always be an enthusiastic supporter of SCS, said, “I am very proud of the educational experience we provide to students at SCS. I still believe we are the best kept secret in Hamilton County. Our students are cared for, encouraged, challenged, and prepared for life after high school, and that’s a testament to all the great educators and support staff we employ at SCS.”

Also not seeking reelection was John Perrine, who served on the board from July 2021 until December 2022.

“It was truly an honor and privilege to serve my community as a member of the Sheridan Community School Board,” Perrine said. “We were able to accomplish some amazing things and, I’m proud to have been part of it. I will continue to support and advocate for our amazing teachers, support staff and most importantly our students in every way possible.”
