OneZone Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of the Sheridan Small Business Network, a new initiative designed to connect and empower local Sheridan businesses through monthly gatherings focused on collaboration, education, and community growth.
The Sheridan Small Business Network will serve as a platform for small business owners to come together once a month to share best practices, explore opportunities to support one another, and learn more about resources and events available through OneZone Chamber. These informal but impactful meetups aim to build a stronger local business ecosystem, foster connection, and provide a unified voice for Sheridan’s small business community.
“Our chamber is committed to serving every community in Hamilton County, and the Sheridan Small Business Network is a meaningful step forward,” OneZone Chamber President and CEO Jack Russell said. “By bringing business owners together on a regular basis, we’re creating space for shared success, local collaboration, and long-term growth.”
The idea for the network was sparked by the desire to create more intentional support for the unique needs of Sheridan’s small business community. The network will be driven by local leaders, with programming shaped by the interests and challenges of participating businesses.
“As a business owner in Sheridan, I see firsthand the value of building relationships with other local entrepreneurs,” said Curt Whitesell, OneZone Board Member and owner of Greeks Pizzeria in Sheridan. “This network is about more than just networking – it’s about learning from each other, supporting one another, and making Sheridan an even better place to do business.”
The first meeting will take place later this summer, with a focus on creating an open forum for businesses to help guide the future of the network.
“Small towns thrive when small businesses thrive,” added Haley Bechtel, owner of Adorning Oaks on Main Street in Sheridan. “The Sheridan Small Business Network is exactly what we need to keep momentum going, share ideas, and lift each other up.”
