On Wednesday, the Hamilton Heights softball team went to Western for the second game of its Hoosier Conference series with the Panthers.
After defeating Western at home on Tuesday, the Panthers returned the favor and blanked the Huskies 8-0.
Heights was held to four hits and the game was low key for the first five innings.
Western scored in the first, bunting into a fielder’s choice.
Two more scored in the home half of the fourth on a single and an infield error for a 3-0 score.
The Panthers put the game away with a five-run bottom of the sixth.
Hamilton Heights (5-1, 1-1 Hoosier) dropped its first game of the season. The Huskies visit Sheridan (0-2) tonight at 5 p.m. in an all-county game.
