NobleMade offering one-day sale Saturday

NobleMade, the gift shop in the former visitor center on the square, will hold a one-day only sale this Saturday, Aug. 17. NobleMade will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and will offer discounts from most of its vendors, including Miller Mall, which sells officially-branded Noblesville Schools clothing and school spirit items.

The shop, which is operated by Nickel Plate Arts, hopes this sale will help put NobleMade on the map. According to Nickel Plate Arts executive director Aili McGill, “This is the first official sale that we’ve ever staged for locally made arts, crafts, and goods, so it should give us the opportunity to learn many things that can help us grow Noble Made and the market for locally made items.”

What should you expect to find at the NobleMade sale? In addition to Miller Mall gear, McGill noted, “We will have jewelry, greeting cards, ceramics, books and fine art. Some of the items in our shop are surprising, we have bird houses and cutting boards, ceramic egg sculptures and superhero prints. There really is something for everyone in our shop. All proceeds support local artists or organizations that serve Noblesville, and all shoppers will be helping our local creative entrepreneurs.”

Nickel Plate Arts is also holding an artist supply rummage sale on Saturday at its campus at 107 S. 8th St. in Noblesville. Local artists will be selling their ‘extra’ art supplies from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be everything from oil pastels to filing cabinets – and lots of other artistic surprises.

Whether you’re looking for art supplies or Noblesville-themed gifts, NobleMade and Nickel Plate Arts have you covered in Downtown Noblesville this Saturday.
