Philip A. Wicker, 80, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Maple Park Village in Westfield.
Phil was born in Indianapolis on June 26, 1943, to the late Lowell and Phoebe (Wooten) Wicker.
On November 23, 1961, he married Nancy L. Kerfoot, and they shared 62 years of marriage.
Phil attended Jackson Central High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1961. Phil worked in manufacturing for General Motors and spent 28 years at Delco Remy in Anderson. Phil was most known for his witty sense of humor. During his spare time, he enjoyed horses, gardening, and fishing. He liked watching track & field and football, especially the Minnesota Vikings. Phil loved spending time with his family and will be missed by many.
Phil is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Wicker of Noblesville; son, Lynn A. (Donna) Wicker of Fishers; daughter, Roxanne W. Gudgel of Carmel; grandson, John A. Wicker of Terre Haute, Ind.; granddaughter, Stephanie M. Wicker of Elkhart, Ind.; and grandson, Spencer W. Gudgel of Carmel.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell & Phoebe Alice Wicker.
Phil’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a small family celebration of life. The family has entrusted Phil’s care to Hartley Funeral Homes.
