Spring Mill Road
Beginning on or after Tuesday, Aug. 8, there will be a five-day closure on Spring Mill Road between Hamlet Drive and 116th Street to construct a new entrance into the Jackson’s Grant subdivision.
The morning of Aug. 8, both directions of Spring Mill Road will be closed to thru traffic. Before the end of that work day, northbound Spring Mill will be reopened and remain open for the duration of the work. Southbound Spring Mill will be closed for the duration of the five-day project. Detour routes will use Illinois Street, Main Street, and 116th Street.
Hazel Dell Parkway
Carmel Utilities will clean a sanitary pipe in Hazel Dell Parkway’s northbound lane between Main Street and Plum Creek Boulevard starting Tuesday, Aug. 8 at midnight and continuing through the next four days. Work will be performed during low traffic and low sanitary flow times (midnight to 7 a.m.). Traffic will be maintained in the eastern northbound lane of Hazel Dell Parkway.
This will not result in a closure of Hazel Dell Parkway. The work will occur during the evening and early morning to be less impactful to area residents and daily commuters.
