Kroger now offers another service providing additional convenience to its customers. People who rely on Kroger Health may now receive prescriptions and groceries delivered together.
The service, powered by Instacart, is available through the Kroger app and online, giving customers added flexibility to take care of their health and grocery needs at the same time.
“Combining pharmacy services with the everyday shopping experience makes it possible for more families to manage their health in a convenient and efficient way,” said Birgitta Monson, PharmD, Health Leader of Kroger Central Division. “This launch offers more delivery options for certain prescriptions filled by the same Kroger pharmacy teams customers already know and trust.”
Placing orders online or through the Kroger app makes it easier to access fresh food, everyday essentials and eligible prescriptions* in one seamless experience. The new delivery option reinforces Kroger’s commitment to meeting customers where they are – in store, online or at home – with convenient access to the food and eligible prescriptions they need.
“Getting your medications and groceries delivered in one trip brings everyday convenience to a whole new level, making life simpler and healthier,” Monson said.
Prescription delivery eligibility may vary by medication type, delivery address type, or local regulations. Age restrictions and other restrictions and exclusions apply. See Pharmacy for details.
*Prescription delivery requires enrollment in ‘My Prescriptions’ and Online Pay.
