Join in parade celebrating health care heroes today at Wellbrooke of Carmel

The City of Carmel Police and Fire departments will celebrate health care heroes and bring joy to the residents and staff members of Wellbrooke of Carmel, 12315 N. Pennsylvania St., with a special parade at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 20.

The City of Carmel has had several family members request a “drive-by parade” to show support for Wellbrooke of Carmel residents as well as the associates who are working tirelessly every day on behalf of the greatest generation and our most vulnerable population. The toll of the virus as well as the visiting restrictions have affected residents, their families and associates and this parade is one way to bring cheer.

The public is encouraged to take part in the “drive-by parade.” Decorate your vehicle with signs or balloons and gather at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at John Kirk Furniture south lot, 12345 Old Meridian St.

Parade Route

From the John Kirk Furniture south lot, the parade will travel west and go around the roundabout at Pennsylvania Street and Old Meridian, then travel south on Pennsylvania Street and enter the Wellbrooke of Carmel parking lot on the south side and make a loop around the facility for all to see.
